| Vintage Carved Wooden Folk Art Bear by Dewey V. Sessions |
| This black bear is nicely carved and painted in black with brown highlights. Sessions (1901-1990) spent his life in the Boonville area north of Utica, NY. Well known for his wood carvings of bird and animals, he displayed his work in Rome, NY, and at the Boonville Woodsmen’s Field Days for many years. This charming bear is signed. It measures 5-1/2” high and 10” long. Condition good, with a few light scuffs to the surface. |
