| Depicts a nicely dressed red-haired young gentleman seated in a simple country chair. In a period black-painted wooden frame with gold liner and brass hanging ring. The frame looks original to the painting and it does not look like the painting was ever removed. Condition of painting is excellent; frame shows wear (see photos). No signature is visible. Outside dimensions of the frame are 5-1/4” X 4-1/2”. Image area of the painting is 3-1/2” X 2-3/4”. |
